As any Toastmaster will tell you, that is far from the truth. Each club has a unique personality. In 2015-2016, Freehold Phrasers was a Select Distinguished Club.<\/p>\n<h3>Club members in their own words:<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;I joined Freehold Phrasers to raise my confidence when speaking in public. The experience has been amazing and now I speak with ease. The Freehold club in particular has been a nurturing and supportive environment for me.&#8221;-Linda Fennessy&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen researching Toastmasters I looked for a group that was close to home to visit.&nbsp; I sat in on a meeting and joined that evening.&nbsp; I enjoyed the excitement of the members in presenting, listening, and reviewing.&nbsp; The feedback given to presenters was structured, organized and positive, with&nbsp;constructive feedback for improvement.&nbsp; This is exactly what I was looking for.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I enjoy the diversity of the group.&nbsp; We have members from all walks of life, ethnic backgrounds, as well different levels of presenters.&nbsp; We have a great mix of seasoned members to newbies!&nbsp; I look forward to our bi-monthly meetings and learning, growing and laughing.&nbsp; Thank you for being a new chapter in my career and personal goals.\u201d -Elaine Holzhauer<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I joined Freehold Toastmasters because I feel like it can help me in my future job.
