The purpose of the contest is to allow people to accelerate growth as a speaker, leave one\u2019s comfort zone and challenge our members.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The contest will be comprised of a <b>Table Topics Contest <\/b>and a <b>Tall Tales Contest<\/b>. Each contestant for the Table Topics Contest will be presented with the same topic and speak extemporaneously about the topic. Timing for each table topic speech is one to two minutes. The subject for the Tall Tales speech must be of a highly exaggerated, improbable nature and have a theme or plot.
