What are your plans for the district? Maintain the district’s website to help promote district events and continue to develop the website so that it can be transferred to a future webmaster.
Why did you join Toastmasters?
To become comfortable speaking in front of a group of people. Shortly after I joined, I was asked to be the Sergeant at Arms for the club, which I accepted. By taking on a leadership role, my level of confidence improved
greatly.
What advice do you have for new members?
We are here to learn, so take on roles that make you feel uncomfortable. Don’t forget to support the members who take on new challenges. The feeling of accomplishment motivates both you and the members you
support. You will rise to new challenges and the members you support will stick around and support you as they gain value in the Toastmasters program.
